J.ot Down is a simple internet notepad.  The easiest one I’ve seen in a while.  Type something, then stop, and it will save the file with a private URL.  Just bookmark this URL to come back to it.

There’s no password protection but URLs are hard to guess.  You can share the text by clicking the share button, which brings you to a read-only version of the text.
